La noche más vieja del año llega a su fin. Y Chocolates Clavileño quiere que la velada del 31 de Diciembre de te deje un buen sabor de boca. Por ello esta semana os traemos una receta de lo más navideña: Tronco de Chocolate de Navidad. ¿Quieres saber cómo preparar este delicioso postre para sorprender a la familia y amigos? ¡Pues manos al chocolate!

INGREDIENTES

Para el bizcocho:

• 6 huevos
• 70gr. de harina de trigo
• 40gr. de maicena y 80gr. de azúcar
• gr. de Preparado de Cacao en Polvo Sin Azúcares Añadidos Clavileño

Para el relleno:

• ml. de nata líquida
• gr. de Chocolate Clavileño Puro 70% Cacao

Para la cobertura:

• 60gr. de Cobertura de Chocolate Clavileño
• 50ml. de nata líquida

PREPARACIÓN

Lo primero que vamos a hacer es el relleno. Por lo que empezamos poniendo ml. de nata líquida en un bol junto con el Chocolate Clavileño Puro 70% Cacao triturado o machacado para batirlo hasta conseguir una crema homogénea. Después guardamos la masa en dos partes (una para el relleno y otra para la cobertura) en la nevera.

Para el bizcocho, batimos 4 yemas y dos claras con el azúcar hasta crear una masa suave. Después, separamos las claras de las yemas del resto de huevos en diferentes envases para poder montar las claras a punto de nieve. Al conseguir la montura, vamos añadiendo la masa que acabábamos de mezclar con el azúcar. En cuanto esté todo batido, agregamos la harina, maicena y gr. de Cacao en Polvo Clavileño para remover poco a poco.

Ahora precalentamos el horno a ºC. Y mientras tanto, untamos una bandeja con mantequilla para verter posteriormente la masa del bizcocho sobre ella (observa que repartes la masa por toda la superficie). Introducimos la bandeja 15 minutos aproximadamente y cuando el bizcocho empiece a dorarse, la sacamos del horno y dejamos que se enfríe a temperatura ambiente.

A continuación preparamos la cobertura. Cortamos el chocolate de cobertura Clavileño y lo fundimos a fuego lento. Mientras se derrite, añadimos 50ml. de nata líquida y lo removemos suavemente. Cuando esté listo, lo mezclamos con la mitad de la masa reservada en la nevera del relleno. Dejamos que se enfríe.

Colocando el bizcocho que habíamos dejado a temperatura ambiente sobre papel de horno, untamos la otra parte de la masa de relleno y lo enrollamos cuidadosamente sin apretar.

Para finalizar nuestra receta de fin de año Clavileño, cubrimos con un pincel de pastelería (o en su defecto con una cuchara o espátula) la superficie del tronco con la masa de cobertura para conservarlo en la nevera y dejar que se solidifique.

Recuerda que en Noche Vieja, debes sacarlo de la nevera una hora antes de servir para que el sabor de Chocolates Clavileño sea exquisito 😉

The idea that some other animal might have a language of it&#;s own, or may be able to learn ours, has fascinated me since I was in middle school. Language studies with the great apes have had an impressive level of success several apes have learned hundreds of signs in sign language. Notable examples include Koko the gorilla, who is supposed to know about 1, signs (and loves kittens), and Loulis the chimpanzee, who learned sign language from her mother Washoe instead of human teachers (Wayman, ). In another example, Kanzi, a bonobo, has learned to lexigrams, a visual symbolic language (Wayman, ). Koko and Kanzi both understand spoken language (Wayman, ).

With dolphins however, there is evidence that they may have their own full blown language.

In order to examine this idea, we must first consider what a language is. Justin Gregg uses the definition &#;an arbitrary set of learned symbols (usually vocal) organized systematically into a logical grammar consisting of small infinitely combinatorial elements, capable of communicating concrete and abstract meaning, and shared by a group,” in a podcast titled Do Dolphins Have a Language ()? Dolphins&#; natural forms of communication have, for the most part, not been shown to have these traits (Gregg, ).

Dolphins have, however, shown themselves to be capable of doing most things a human language does. When taught a simplified artificial language, dolphins are able to use object, action and modifier (right/left etc.) words in learned and novel combinations, displaying an understanding of syntax (Janik, ). They have also displayed an understanding of abstract concepts in this way (Gregg, ). Each dolphin also has a unique &#;signature whistle&#; which they use to identify themselves, and occasionally address other dolphins  (Janik, ). Which is a pretty good description of a name. These animals listen in to each other&#;s echolocation calls, and communicate with discrete clicks that might contain syntax (Janik, ).

Jack Kassewitz, believes that dolphins have a &#;sono-pictorial&#; language, as they are able to &#;see&#; with sound using specialized auditory organs in their lower jaws (Kassewitz & Reid, ). He and others are attempting to decode this language by recording dolphins echolocating and communicating in context. (“Press Release”). Using a &#;CymaScope&#; instrument, they have found that dolphins make &#;click trains&#; which are used in echolocation, and &#;chirps&#; which they believe make up the dolphin language (“Press Release”).

While it is by no means proven that dolphins have a true language (I find it a bit hasty to act like it is), there is more evidence for it for these animals than any other. They have proven themselves capable of many functions of language, and have enough complexity in their system of communication to allow for a language. So I&#;ll be rooting for the dolphins. 😉
